Once More Unto the Breach, My Friends

2016 has been a year of both great challenge and great excitement for Logixsource. It’s been a year where we not only had the opportunity to work on exciting projects with existing clients, but also the opportunity to begin amazing initiatives with new clients.

In really big news: Logixsource celebrated fifteen years of successful business in 2016! Of course, we could not have done it without dedicated personnel, awesome colleagues, and wonderful clients. So, first and foremost, we thank you, one and all, for fifteen incredible years of business!

Many of our clients did some serious reflection this year. While we more than appreciate the opportunity to facilitate these changes – from strategic planning, to selling business, to ERP implementation - we commend those who have taken a continually troubling economy and not one, but two government changes as the impetus for their own change. The majority of our clients who undertook strategic planning this year are looking forward to implementing changes in 2017 and we’re excited to partner with them in doing so.

Business and strategy are not the only new things that contributed to a successful 2016. A number of clients hired on new contractors and employees! While Logixsource is one of those companies (we brought on a full-time operations coordinator in January), we’ve also had the opportunity to place amazing people, including for a long-time distribution client, finance and supply chain personnel, as well as other supply chain specialists at a new consumer products distribution client.

We’ve had some great opportunities in the energy industry as well. We had the opportunity to place an amazing talent with a client to help them during their merger an acquisition planning phase and placed another talent to work with a major energy client’s project management office.

From an industry best practices perspective, we had the opportunity to once again provide training, both in leadership and supply chain strategies. We’ve met a number of new contacts and organizations through this training session (check out LinkedIn!), and it continues to be an area of growth and change for everyone involved. We’re scheduled to do more training in 2017 and encourage you to mark your calendars. If you would like more information about the training program, please visit our website. We look forward to seeing you there!

Most importantly, 2016 could not have been a year of success and excitement without the team behind us. We would not have made it through fifteen years of business – did we mention how exciting that is? – without the support and continued dedication of clients, contractors, employees and colleagues.

2017 looks to be a year of potential. With new mandates, new governments and thus, new attitudes, we’re looking forward to the potential of facilitating change, rather than waiting for it. We look forward to fostering relationships through our membership with The Logistics Institute, Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce and through connections to organizations such as the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.

With that in mind, we wish you a very happy and successful 2017 and thank you, one last final time, for making 2016 a great one for us at Logixsource!
